An add-on credit card can be a good choice. Let’s understand some rules before you apply for one.
An add-on credit card is issued with a main or primary credit card. If you are using a credit card, you can get an add-on card with it.
•Add-on cards can be gifted only to family members, i.e., spouse, children or parents
•The payment responsibility for add-on cards lies on the primary cardholder
•The benefits of the primary card are available on the add-on cards, too
•Additional charges might apply
•The credit limit might be equal to or less than the primary card
•Add-on card transactions are recorded in the primary card’s statement
•A consolidated payment is needed to clear the primary and add-on cards’ bills
•More than one add-on card can be issued
