The Income Tax e-filing portal allows taxpayers who have filed their ITR online to check their refund status. Follow these steps:
1. Go to https://www.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal/
2. Log in with your User ID, Password, Date of Birth/Date of Incorporation and Captcha Code
3. Go to My Account > View Returns/Forms
4. Select “Income Tax Returns” and the relevant Assessment Year
5. Click on “View Details” next to the filed ITR
6. Scroll down to find the latest status of your income tax refund under the “Status of Tax Refunds” section
