Credit Guarantee Scheme

Government of India, on June 28, 2021, through the Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services has formulated the Credit Guarantee Scheme for MFIs to provide 75% guarantee on funding extended by Member Lending Institutions (MLIs) to NBFC-MFIs/ MFIs for further on-lending to eligible small borrowers in the context of COVID-19 pandemic. Metra Trust is getting itself registered for the same.
