Gold Card Scheme for Exporters

Metra Trust Exporters Gold Card Scheme provides easy access to export credit on better terms to creditworthy exporters who have a good track record (subject to their fulfilling our specified credit eligibility norms, in line with the extant RBI regulations on export credit).

Eligibility

All creditworthy exporters, including those in small and medium sectors, with a good track will be covered under the scheme; here are other factors of eligibility:

• Accounts are classified as "Standard" continuously for 3 immediate proceeding years.
• Overall conduct of the account should be satisfactory and should not have been classified as SMA 1 or 2 at any time during the 3 immediate proceeding years.
• Names of the company, firm and/or its directors, partners, promoters do not figure in RBI's/CIBIL defaulter and/or caution list and they have not been blacklisted by ECGC.
• There is no overdue in export credit facility with us as on the date of sanction of the facility.
• They do not have overdue exports bills in excess of 10% of the previous year's turnover.

Features

• Limits will be sanctioned in-principal for 3 years, with a provision for automatic renewal yearly (this is subject to satisfactory operation and compliance with the terms and conditions of sanction stipulated by us).
• A standby limit, ad-hoc limit of not less than 20% of the assessed limit may additionally be made available, at the request of the borrower.
• We would consider the waiver of collateral and exemption from ECGC guarantee schemes on the basis of card holder's creditworthiness and track record.
• Provision for concessions in commission, refinement in exchange rates, other charges etc.

Time Limit

Time frame for disposal of applications:

• For disposal of fresh applications: 25 days
• Renewal of limits: 15 days
• Sanction of ad hoc limits: 7 days

Rate of Interest
Competitive rate of interest on pre and post shipment rupee/ foreign currency export credit.

The sanctioning of limits is based on credit policy decisions and internal guidelines of Metra Trust.
