An ATM Personal Identification Number (Debit Card PIN) is a four-digit long number used to make transactions using an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) and offline transactions. You initially need to generate a PIN via an ATM machine or through net banking/mobile banking, but this PIN must be changed periodically for security reasons. There are three ways in which you can change your Debit Card PIN -

  • By visiting an ATM
  • Via net banking
  • Via IVR

How to change Debit Card PIN at an ATM?
 

Follow the steps mentioned below to change your Debit Card PIN at an ATM -

  • Insert your card into the ATM. Generally, your card's magnetic stripe should be facing down to the left.
  • Select the 'Change/Reset PIN' option and enter your existing Debit Card PIN.
  • Enter the One-time Password (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number as part of verification.
  • If you forget your Debit Card PIN, select 'Forgot PIN' and enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
  • After your PIN is changed, the bank shall confirm the same to you via an SMS.

How to change Debit Card PIN through net banking?
